Have you noticed the price of eggs?
With the price of eggs going up along with everything else, I thought about how we could save a bit of money and not miss out on decorating Easter eggs. We have a ton of plastic eggs from past hunts and I thought I'd put them to good use. So I thought "How would they look decorated"?
They turned out pretty cute!

I gathered up the following items and got creative.
Plastic eggs
Stickers
Googly Eyes
Paint
Paint Brushes
Paint Tray
Glue
- I began looking for stickers and found a bunch of great ones left over from old Easter egg decorating kits. If you don't have any left over, you can get stickers at any craft store.
- Then we got creative! We started making faces and creating anything we could think of.
- If you use paint I suggest using water proof if you are using these outside. Or covering the paint with Mod Podge to protect it. Some stickers may come off as well and a good covering of Mod Podge will protect it too.
- After we finished we put them in a basket to admire!
They aren't edible but if you are looking for a way to have fun decorating the eggs without the cost of buying the real thing. This is an affordable way to have fun and celebrate decorating Easter eggs.
