There is a mystery afoot at the Global Village Museum, and curious minds and creative thinkers are needed to help solve it!
On Thursday, June 26, from 10 am to noon, youth ages 6 to 10 are invited to join Art Detectives: Mysteries of the Museum, an interactive scavenger hunt that transforms young visitors into cultural investigators.
As junior detectives, kids will explore the Museum’s incredible collection of global folk art and dollhouses from around the world, following clues, solving riddles, and unraveling a playful Museum mystery. Along the way, they will learn about different cultures, artistic styles, and storytelling traditions.
This exciting program is designed especially for elementary-age children and is perfect for young explorers who love puzzles, art, and imagination. Admission is $35 for participating children or $15 for Museum youth members, and all materials are provided. Since space is limited, please be sure to register early for this exciting cultural adventure.
The Global Village Museum is located at 200 West Mountain Avenue, and Museum hours are 11 am to 5 pm Tuesday through Saturday. For more information and closure dates during the change of exhibits, visit globalvillagemuseum.org or call 970-221-4600.
