Are you looking for something special?
Maybe a sensory-friendly Trunk or Treat event?
You won't want to miss the event on Oct. 17 from 6 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.,
hosted by Oasis Pediatric Therapy and WHALE Respite Center in Greeley.
This year’s Trunk or Treat event is a beautiful reflection Lacy Helms & Kristin Ceriani's vision mission: a fun, festive and sensory-considerate event designed so all children including those with sensory sensitivities or other special needs can safely enjoy Halloween. It will be held at 5699 W. 20th Street, Suite 400 in Greeley.
Founded by Lacy Helms (speech-language pathologist) and Kristin Ceriani (physical therapist), Oasis Pediatric Therapy began as a shared vision in 2017 and has since grown into a team of 125+ providers serving families across northern Colorado with speech, occupational and physical therapy services, both in-home and in-clinic, plus a unique Family CNA program. But their story didn’t stop there.
After years of witnessing the gaps in childcare options for children with developmental delays and disabilities in the community, Lacy and Kristin opened WHALE (We Help And Love Everyone) Respite Center -- a safe, inclusive childcare program for children ages six weeks to 18 years. WHALE serves all kids, with an intentional focus on creating belonging for those who are often left out. Families raising children with disabilities often face isolation, limited support and environments that don’t fit their needs. WHALE exists to change that narrative, offering a space where differences are celebrated and where every child and caregiver is seen, supported and valued.
Grab your kids and bring your friends to enjoy this wonderful Trunk or Treat that is made for everyone through the vision of Lacy Helms & Kristin Ceriani's.
